Why is InfoHesiveEP crashing?
This article provides information about why InfoHesiveEP may be crashing.
There are several possibilities why InfoHesive is crashing:
1. InfoHesive runs on Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. In line with Microsoft's policy, Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, and NT 4 are not supported
2. The file you installed was corrupted. We provide SHA-1 hash values for our software so you can be absolutely assured that your InfoHesive download exactly matches the source file on our website. Please visit our download page and click the "validate download" link which provides the current SHA-1 hash value for InfoHesive:
You can check the hash value of your files using our freeware program HashOnClick.
3. Your firewall may not be allowing one of the components or executables appropriate full access when InfoHesive runs:
InfoHesive.exe: the main application.
toc16.ocx: TE Edit ActiveX Control which delivers the editor.
ter16.dll: TE Edit Control's Dll File.
HTS11.DLL: adds HTML support to the TE Edit Control.
spell32.dll: spell checker: spell checker.
RegisterInfoHesiveFileTypes.exe: is executed by the InfoHesive Installer during the setup to register the file types .IFP, .IFH, .IFB & .IHK to InfoHesive.
Please check your firewall allows all the above components and executables have full access.
4. There is a problem with the program.
Please submit a support ticket providing as much detail about the
problem as possible, including a report of all the actions you made so
the technical team at 2BrightSparks can reproduce the issue:
