If you are using Sticky Password Manager on your computer to centrally manage passwords for applications, email servers, websites, then you may experience problems when creating SyncBack profiles that uses a password for authentication (i.e. using non-standard resources like Cloud, FTP, MTP, Email Backup, SyncBack Touch etc.). SyncBack application may become unresponsive or crash after authorizing with a non-standard resource. This is due to a conflict between SyncBack and Sticky Password Manager.


In such situations, you should consider adding SyncBack to the Ignored Application list of Sticky Password Manager:


  • Open Sticky Password Manager
  • In the Sticky Password Settings dialog select Ignored Apps section
  • Click the Add button and select SyncBack executable file
